Uniformation is one of the newcommers in resin 3D-printers and made quite an impressive first product, the GKtwo. Their high accuracy, decent pricing and robust printer was received well among printer enhousiasts. Also the resin heating feature is very helpful to create a stable environment with better print success. With the 8K resolution, 228 * 128 *245 mm build volume and 29.6 microns XY pixel size it did not stand out yet as there were competitors offering similar machines. Now Uniformation is launching a larger printer with – first in its class – 16K screen resolution! Named the Uniformation GK3 Ultra! Similar to the 12K and 14K printers, this LCD screen has rectangle shaped pixels of 20 x 26 micron size. Since the difference in X and Y size is rather small, we would not expect any negatie side effects of that. The unique combination of 20-26 micron pixel size with a large build volume of 300 * 160 * 300 mm (L * W * H) and the neat features like resin heating copied from the GKTwo will give Uniformation a headstart in technology.
