Phrozen was founded in 2016 by a group of Taiwanese 3D-printing enthusiasts. They produce professional consumer-friendly 3D printers for industrial application, medical, and personal use. Since 2020 Phrozen released its new fleet of Phrozen Sonic resin 3D-printers. All Phrozen Sonic printers are upgraded to monochrome LCD’s, making them faster compared to the older RGB models. After releasing the smaller Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K and the bigger Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K, Phrozen is now the first hardware manufacturer to bring 8K resolution to the maker community.
